What’s your favourite thing about CrossFit?: The Girls (read into that what you will), and it allows you to be yourself, Im going a few shades darker(spraytan) for the regionals and its great that I can do that and its acceptable behaviour.
What’s your favourite thing about 2600?: the peeps!
What was the hardest movement for you to get?: handstand walks
What are you most looking forward to about Regionals?: see how electric the atmosphere will be this year! Also, WOD 7 on Sunday afternoon – the pint AMRAP

Favourite thing about CrossFit?  I like where it takes me in a workout, and with my allergy to cotton, wool, polyester, I can still train without a shirt on.

Favourite thing about CrossFit?: I love that you’re always pushed out of your comfort zone to try things you never thought possible
Favourite thing about 2600: love the people of 2600, I smile every time I walk in!
Hardest movement to get: there have been a few that have taken a LONG time to get  (1 year for pull ups!) I struggle most with anything heavy.
Most looking forward to about Regionals: I’m looking forward to everything at Regionals! Competing and watching the rest of the competition. We have such a cool team and our preparation has been great so I can’t wait to get out there and have fun.

Favourite thing about CrossFit?: the variety of exercises followed by teh challenges every WOD brings
Favourite thing about 2600: the friendly staff, the friendships I have developed and the intense programs
Hardest movement to get: muscle ups!
Most looking forward to about Regionals: I’m so excited! This is my first crossfit games experience so I am looking forward to the atmosphere, the competition and the overall experience of the three days.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?: Since Birchy got me into it, about five years.
What’s your favourite thing about CrossFit?: Always having a challenge or a goal to reach. Im also a really hot human, I generate a huge amount of bodyheat so that it is legal to take my shirt of each workout is great.
What’s your favourite thing about 2600?: The lost property bin, and the members.
What was the hardest movement for you to get?: I can’t handstand walk
What are you most looking forward to about Regionals?: Nothing beats the atmosphere – helps you push that bit harder

Australasian CrossFit Games Regional Competition
CrossFit 2600 is sending a team and one individual athlete to the Regional CrossFit Games in Wollongong this weekend, we thought you should meet the team!
Most of them will be familiar to Team 2600 members as coaches putting you through your paces at the box, but here’s a little bit more info about each of them.
Only two Canberra-based boxes will join the 28 other teams from Australia and New Zealand at the Wollongong games. This is CrossFit 2600’s second Regional competition and the second time we have sent a team and individual athletes. At 2600 our aim is to help you achieve your fitness goals and our coaches are aiming for a few goals of their own at Regionals.
The team will head to Wollongong on Thursday afternoon, which means classes will be interrupted while the competition is being held. The final class for this week (14 May to 20 May) will be 9.30am Thursday 17 May. We will be back to normal classes on Monday 21 May. We appreciate your understanding for the closure. Most looking forward to about Regionals?: Watching "Pumping Iron" thursday night to gee myself up, then being in the competition atmosphere and pushing myself to the limit.
